FAQ & Policies

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! But only at specific times, maybe once every couple months. I will make it very loud and clear all across my website, newsletter and Instagram when I am accepting custom orders.

Do you issue refunds or accept exchanges?

Absolutely no refunds are given at this time; all products are listed in full detail/ dimensions… you receive exactly what you see! Exchanges are only available on clothing items in specific case scenarios. All clothing is listed with exact sizes but I know that not every item is a perfect fit so I can make exceptions.

Do you sell your patterns?

I do NOT sell my patterns. All of my designs are original and copyrighted and should not be replicated in any fashion. If any of my work is reposted on a business or personal page, credit to Surreal Goods is a respectable and proper way to go about it!

Do you back your embroidered hats and clothing?

All of my wearable stitched art is finished with a heat-set embroidery backing. I use a silky finisher to help protect the knots and also to keep your noggins comfortable! It is common for your backing to become unadhered the more wear and tear you give to your piece. It can be easily re-adhered with a quick swipe of an iron. Good as new!

Can I wash my embroidered hat or clothing?

Absolutely! All embroidered hats should be hand-washed with cold water and natural soap like Dr. Bronners. All embroidered clothing should be washed on delicate with warm water and a non-abrasive detergent.

When can I expect my item to arrive to its new home?

RTS (ready to ship) items will be shipped out 3-5 business days after purchase is made. Custom pieces have a turnover time of 3-4 weeks and will be shipped out immediately after your personal piece is completed. All packages ship priority USPS and include a tracking number.

What if my package gets lost during transit?

Priority shipping is insured up to $50 and additional insurance can be purchased at the time of checkout. If a priority package goes missing or is damaged, it is the recipients responsibility to file a claim with USPS. Once your package is shipped, it is out of our hands and we are not liable for lost, damaged or stolen goods.

My piece has gotten a lot of loving, do you offer mending?

All of my wearable art is meant to be just that…wearable art! If you have worn out your piece enough that it needs some serious mending, I will absolutely mend it for you to prolong its lifespan. I will require photos of the damage to determine if mending is necessary and all customers are responsible for shipping costs to and from my studio.
